We want to let you know that Dumfries & Galloway Arts is entering a period of change as an organisation.  Due to current economic pressures dgArts is currently restructuring and downsizing the business, and the team will now be based at The Midsteeple, High Street, Dumfries DG1 2BL.  The telephone number remains 01387 253383.

The board have approved a new business plan and are currently actioning the implementation of a short term transition plan. Positive discussions are being held with the organisation’s key stakeholders – Dumfries and Galloway Council and Creative Scotland – and dgArts is adopting a ‘business as usual’ approach.

All parties are interested in a positive and productive relationship moving forward in 2011.  dgArts are committed to continuing and developing an independent arts organisation, delivering work in the region.  We intend to continue with current partners and deliver on current contracts whilst identifying future opportunities to work together throughout the rest of this year and beyond.

The Arts Information Hub is open: Mon – Fri 10am to 4pm, Sat 10am to 4pm until Easter.
