Annapurna Indian Dancers present a rich garland of traditional dances and ancient stories from India (including Monsoon Tales and Indian Hereafter) with stunning costumes and original music. The Company has built a reputation for producing vibrant dance projects using the best loved stories from the mythology of Inida for touring and performances to theatres and Festivals.
The company’s main dance form is drawn from an ancient classical style called Bharata Natyam which is famous for its crisp rhythmic footwork and telling stories using stylised facial expressions and beautifully intricate hand gestures.
